Its a question that has been debated for years, and will be for many years to come. You’re out for a meal and the service is bad. Do you leave a tip, even something smaller than you would normally leave, or do you skip the gratuity all together?
A new survey by InsightsWest reveals 33% will simply pay their bill, without leaving any extra.
And even if the service is terrible, there are some that feel a tip is a must (many restaurants split the tips with all employees on duty for the meal service) they make up for 15% of those surveyed.
