LOCAL: By-Law Amended To Offer Flexibility For Service Dog Owners

The previous by-law restricted residents of Clarence-Rockland to three dogs per household, insisting on license for all dogs including medical service dogs.  The amended by-law still maximizes the number of dogs, however there is no limit on the number of medical service dogs per dwell, and the license fee for service dogs has been removed.

The city of Clarence-Rockland joins Pembroke, Timmins, Petawawa, and Great Sudbury; cities that have also eliminated the restriction on medical service dogs.
