The Russell County OPP is currently investigating a string of frauds via the web site “Kijiji“. The suspect offers for sale items such as pick-up trucks, winter tires and snow plows. He only communicates via text message and always convinces the victims to provide deposits via Interac e-Transfers. He offers to deliver the item or requests pick up at an address in the Village of Casselman. The suspect has no ties to the Casselman address and never delivers the item. If you have been a victim or have any information regarding this matter, you are asked to please contact police.
