Night-sky gazers will get a show today and tonight that might warrant some popcorn! Most of the world will get to see what scientists are calling a lunar trifecta — a triple lineup not seen since 1982. Not only will there be a supermoon tonight and a blue moon since it’s the second full moon of the month — but there will also be a total lunar eclipse when the moon moves into the Earth’s shadow. The lunar eclipse will be best visible in the western half of Canada and the U-S before the moon sets early this morning.
