Due to The Ottawa River Festival, the boat launch will not be accessible today from 3:00pm-11:00pm, Saturday June 30 from 10:00am-8:00pm, and all day on July 1, in Rockland.  No watercraft will be permitted to launch or exit during these time periods. Also dock access will be limited, however boat docking will be allowed during the festival on a first come first serve basis. Boaters can alternatively use boat launches in Wendover, Cumberland, and Petrie Island. In Hawkesbury, the boat launches will be closed Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1, as part of the festivities.

With a hot and humid long weekend ahead a number of communities in our listening area have Fire bans in effect, including The city of Clarence-Rockland. It remains in effect until further notice.
