Restaurant Without Plates – Would You Eat HERE?

 

At least they won’t need to worry about dropping a plate, or customers walking off with cutlery. A New York Italian restaurant called Fortina is now serving food without dishes. Chef Christian Petroni tells the paper that his servers splash the food directly on a specially-sealed wood table. “When was the last time you ate something right off the table? There’s something about sharing a meal with people you care about — it sticks with you.”
