Science Teachers: Want Them To Pay Attention – Add Some Humor

 

A new study by Arizona State University reveals that 99% of science students appreciate a teacher with a sense of humor. Researchers interviewed more than 1,600 science students before concluding that humor improves the overall classroom experience.

 

Students claim they have better relationships with instructors and retain more information when the teacher tells jokes. Humor in the classroom can also significantly lower stress.
