Snowstorms Cancel Buses And Even Crimes

It’s been a winter of snowstorms across our region and parts of the US.  Parts of Alabama have experienced snow, and extreme windchill factors.  The Priceville, Alabama police decided to put out a cancellation alert.

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey issued a state of emergency and school systems across the state announced closures or delays.

Commenters were enjoying the humor of the Facebook posts, with responses like:

  • “Thank you Priceville Police for canceling all dumb things for the snowmaggeddon..”
  • “Darn, had things planned. LOL, You guys be safe out there.”
  • “All criminals are offered free stay at Priceville Police Department facilities.”
  • “But I had (big) plans. Plans to stay inside doing crazy dumb things.”
