Spend More Time In Bed To Get The Required Amount

 

A new study by Penn State University reveals that the optimal amount of sleep is 8.5 hours per night. Researcher Daniel Gartenberg tells CTV News: “To actually get those eight hours, you actually need to spend a little more time in bed than that. A healthy sleeper will only spend around 90 per cent of the time in bed sleeping, so to get the eight hours that most people need, you need to spend 8.5 hours in bed.”
