Television’s “The Office” Credited For Saving A Life

For the most part, following anything that Michael Scott, the boss from the television series “The Office” did wouldn’t be wise.  In this case, one of very few, it was a good call.

Cross Scott credits an episode with helping him save a woman’s life. The 21 year-old found an unconscious woman locked in her car before he broke in and started CPR. Cross has no CPR training, but remembered that Steve Carell’s character once performed the life-saving technique to the Bee Gees song ”Stayin’ Alive”.

The song has the perfect tempo for the correct amount of chest compressions. Cross got the woman breathing before she was taken to the hospital to be treated.
