A British company, called Game, is selling a Christmas dinner in a can. The 11-layer ‘Christmas Tinner’ features scrambled tofu, tempeh bacon; vegan cheese, olives, grapes, mushroom Wellington; gravy; bread sauce; peppery vegan pigs in blankets; stuffing; roasted butternut squash, parsnips, carrots; spiced red cabbage, custard and chocolate cake.
Christmas Tinner is popular with gamers because they can eat it without having to move from their game.
The original Christmas Tinner has been so popular with gamers over the last several years that this year we’ve been inundated with requests for a vegan or vegetarian alternative,” the spokesperson said. “There are now 3.5 million vegans in the UK and we have had to respond to the shift in consumer behavior habits and demand and make sure our products are appealing to all.”
