Wanted Man Could Be In Rockland

North Bay Police say a man is wanted for sexual assault may be in Ottawa or Rockland Ontario. – Guy Lavergne is wanted for sexual assault on a minor and has been wanted by the Ottawa Police Services since May after he was charged with sexually assaulting a girl. In North Bay, he remains wanted on a series of assault charges.

Lavergne, a lifelong criminal with no work history, was released on two conditional sentences almost exactly one year ago. Five months later, police in Ottawa charged him with sexually assaulting the girl. He’s also wanted for breaching the conditions of his release. Police, however, have not been able to locate him.

Police believe he might be in the Ottawa-Rockland areas or more broadly in Eastern Ontario. They also fear he’s being aided in escaping arrest.
