It sounds like an episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
Doctors in Kenya recently performed brain surgery on the wrong patient. The surgeons were two hours into removing a blood clot when they realized they were operating on the wrong person. The hospital says the mix-up occurred because the patients’ identification tags were accidentally switched. The hospital has suspended the surgeons, their nurses and everyone else associated with the mix-up. The patient, who underwent unnecessary brain surgery is recovering while the other patient no longer needs surgery because their condition has improved. The dumbest thing you did?
