A conservation officer from Marquette County, Michigan recently ticketed two parents while they were fishing on their boat.
Josh Boudreaux was patrolling the Dead River Basin when he saw a child reel in a walleye. Boudreaux boated over and congratulated the child on his catch.
The boy said, “Mommy and daddy don’t have life jackets.”
Boudreaux then ticketed his parents for failing to carry safety equipment on their vessel.
