A new survey by First Internet Bank reveals that the average person spends $2,429 a year on unnecessary purchases. Other findings:- 76% of people are guilty of making an impulse purchase.

– the average person starts feeling guilty about an impulse purchase nine hours after making it- 56% of people have hidden purchases from family and friends because they are embarrassed
