Hawkesbury OPP responded to a report of a male that had gone underwater and not surfaced last Saturday afternoon. Along with assistance of the East Hawkesbury Fire Department and Plantagenet Fire Departments the body of a 57 year old male was found and retrieved. No foul play is suspected.
With just days to go before Ontario votes, two of the three main party leaders are hitting the campaign trail hard. Liberal Leader Kathleen Wynne and N-D-P Leader Andrea Horwath both have packed schedules today. Wynne takes part in a Toronto media blitz this morning, followed by events with supporters in Newmarket and Midland. Horwath has events planned across southwestern Ontario, while Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford has only an announcement in Scarborough this morning on his schedule.

Voterlookup.ca is an online service used to build and maintain information that will be used in the preparation of the final voters’ lists across Ontario. You can also change/update your school support for electoral purposes and add names to your property address.
The Canadian Automobile Association’s list of the worst roads in Ontario is due out today. CAA releases its Worst Roads List each year, determined by online submissions from the public, to try to shame governments into improving road conditions. CAA will present the top ten to local and provincial governments in effort to get the roads fixed.
